Being a volunteer is important to me. It is enjoyable and it allows me to make a valuable contribution, lets me cooperate with interesting people, and forces me to continuously develop myself.
A selection of my my volunteer work over the years:
- 2009-present: treasurer at Scouting St Aloysius Zilst
- 2022-2023: co-organiser and teacher at Edumais Summer School (game design courses for Favela in Rio de Janeiro)
- 2018-2020: board member at Saganet (professional association for simulation games)
- 2015-2016: workshop leader at Make the Match (technology education for teenagers)
- (1998-2001: cute small Rob as volunteer at Hobbyclub Kabouterdorp Veldhoven ;))
